Julie Francis Michaud passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2017. Julie was born on March 23, 1967 in Memphis, TN. The daughter of Harold and Joan Francis. She was a graduate of Memphis State University and obtained an advanced diploma at Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH in Special Education with an emphasis on autism and case management.
She was employed as an autism specialist in The Manchester School District (1995 - 2000). Gifted in her work with autistic and disabled individuals, she made a difference in their lives. She was employed by the Moore Center as a Direct Support Professional from August 2010 to the present.
Julie possessed a unique ability to relate to the problems and needs of her clients at the Moore Center and will be greatly missed by many of those special individuals and loved by all who met her for her kindness and gentle heart.
She enjoyed traveling to Hampton Beach in all seasons, but especially summers, walking the beach, riding and biking. She loved dolphins.
Predeceased by her parents, survived by her son, Christopher, brother Michael Francis and his wife Anne, stepmother Anne Francis, aunt and uncle Raymond and Sandra Holmes plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
