GOFFSTOWN - Donald E. Untiet, 92, died September 1, 2018. Born in Dunbarton, NH on December 28, 1925, he was the son of John and Rose (Huard) Untiet. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from Nov. 1950 to Oct. 1952. Don was married to the love of his life of 62 years, Jeannine R. Gardner, until her passing on March 20, 2015.
Don was a lifelong resident of Goffstown, one of the founding parishioners of St. Lawrence Church since 1942 and continued as a parishioner his entire life. Don worked at wholesale drug company A. Perly Fitch and Gilman Drug Company for 29 years as well as Holmes Transportation and the Goffstown School District. Donald was a past member of the Pointer Fish & Game Club and an avid hunter who enjoyed the sport with multiple generations of his family.
He was predeceased by siblings Charles, John and George.
Members of the family include six sons James and Annette of Goffstown, Richard and Kathy of Loudon, Larry and Laurel of Franklin, Tom and Tracy of Manchester, Brian and Robin of Goffstown and Gary of Manchester. Twelve grandchildren Adam, David (Elisabeth), Craig (Kelly), Michael (Lauren), Nathan (Krishna), Christopher (Erin), Blythe, Kera (Cass), Tanya (Jay), Tessa (Gabe), Collin and Kaitlyn (Alex). Fourteen great grandchildren Cloe (Ben), Cobi, Jordan, Kayla, Lilith, Toby, Kendall, Camden, Deserae, Zoey, Cardigan, Crew, Emmett and Owen. One brother, Raymond of California, and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held at the French and Rising Funeral Home Thursday, September 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown on Friday, September 7, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at noon.
