Mrs. Christina Lunt (née Gonzalez), of Goffstown, NH, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the age of 41.
Christina was born to parents Emilio and Milagros Gonzalez on March 31, 1977 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. She attended Mary Help of Christians Academy High School and graduated in 1995. While in high school she was a member of the varsity volleyball team, student council president, Altar Server at St. Gerard RC Church in Paterson, NJ, and National Honor Society member.
After graduation, Christina attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. While in college she met her future husband, Matthew Lunt. When they had earned their degrees, the couple moved to Goffstown, New Hampshire. They were married on October 17, 2003 in Lincoln, New Hampshire in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest
Christina worked as a pharmacist at Stop N Shop in Bedford and for other pharmacies during her career. As a pharmacist she was cheerful, compassionate, and loved by her peers.
Christina’s lasting legacy, in addition to her son, is the memories others will have of her warmth and generosity to friends and family. She had a knack for making acquaintances turn to lasting friendships.
Christina is survived by her son, Aiden Lunt, her husband, Matthew Lunt, her mother, Milagros
Gonzalez, and her sister, Audeliz Gonzalez.
Christina was laid to rest in Goffstown at Shirley Hill Cemetery on October 20th. Condolences are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations made in Christina’s name to the National Kidney Foundation and for all who loved her to be organ donors.
